The vision of the Don Bosco Charter High School is to create a safe and supportive environment wherein the faculty and staff will strive to instill the knowledge, skills and habits necessary for students to achieve their full potential. Don Bosco provides opportunities that are designed to meet the different learning styles of individual students, empowering them to be successful. Don Bosco specializes in helping students who have not thrived in traditional public school settings achieve their high school education.

The Charter High School offers an academic program that meets the State of Missouri's Show-Me Standards, and includes courses such as fine arts, language arts, life skills, mathematics, PE and health, practical arts, sciences, social studies, special services, and work study. In addition, Don Bosco offers an evening high school program for students who are unable to attend during the day and only need to complete a few credit hours for graduation.

Don Bosco students enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities such as organized sports, student government, debate, volunteer activities, afterschool programs and summer programs.
