Project Yes School Supply Drive 2008
Did you know that according to the National Retail Federation, the average family spends $95 on school supplies? For families already struggling financially, preparing children for the school year can be a large financial burden.

Join the Don Bosco Centers in preparing students for the 2008-2009 school year by participating in the Project YES School Supply Drive. Backpacks and supplies that are donated through Project Yes will be distributed to children and families involved in each of Don Bosco's six community centers. You can partner in these efforts in two ways:

1. CONDUCT A SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE.
Businesses, organizations, faith communities and other groups are encouraged to host school supply drives from May - July. For a list of desired supplies, please click here. Additional resources to help you as you conduct your school supply drive are below.

2. MAKE A CONTRIBUTION
Finanical gifts applied toward Project Yes will be used to purchase additional supplies and will be used as a fund for purchasing school uniforms for families in need. You may give online or send your contribution to The Don Bosco Centers, Attn: Project Yes, 531 Garfield Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64124.
