About Don Bosco's Holiday Friends Program
Imagine being a single mother raising three children, struggling to make ends meet and wanting your child to experience Christmas morning like every other child. Picture a senior citizen, living alone and using what little income they have to pay for rent and utlities, having to make a decision between medication and food, but longing to feel the warmth and cheer of the holiday. Imagine being a father with a family, picking up the pieces and trying to get back on your feet during the holiday season.

Holiday Friends is a fundraising program for Don Bosco's Family Support Center. It's easy to get involved. Families will register for assistance with the Family Support Center through the fall. Adopters may sign-up to adopt families in November and December. Once signed up, adopters will receive a list of desired items requested by the families. Adopters have the option of dropping gifts off to the families directly or delivering gifts to Don Bosco for delivery. There is a $20 per person adopted fee that is used to support the Family Support Center's emergency assistance programs throughout the year.

In addition to the Holiday Friends program, the Family Support Center is always in need of food, clothing, coats, blankets, personal hygiene products, furniture, housewares, and other in-kind donations.
